Duties and responsibilities:

Cytology is the study of human body cells.

Cytotechnologists are speacilly trained clinical technologist who study human body cells. They examine cells to identify changes that may indicate diseases like cancer.

Their duties include preparing microscope slides of cell samples, examining cell samples using microscopes, identifying abnormalities in shape, size, or color, using other automated lab equipment to perform 5tests, and analyzing report test result to physicians.

Cytotechnologyist usally work in hospitals, clinics, or pravite laboratories. They also work in university or for other researchers.

Average Salary:$30,00-$50,00

Education Requirments:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English.

Almost all cytotechnologist earn bachlor’s gebree in medical or clinical technology programs that include a year- long clinical inter ship in the field

Rehabilitation or mental health counselors work with the mentally, emotionally, and physically disabled. It is their job to help them become self-sufficient and productive. Counselors often work closely with their patients doctors and family. Counselors may work in private practice, for schools, industry, or in hospital or residential health care setting. Counselors often:

1. Work with patients who abuse alcohol or are addicted to drugs.

2. Interview and observe patients to determine problem area.

3. Conduct personality. Aptitude, achievement, and psychologist test.

4. Help patients find and keep jobs.

Educational Requirements:

 

Students interested in becoming counselors should take a challenge high school curriculum.

A batchelors degree in education, psychology, or society is the minimum requirement for low level counseling jobs, but a master’s degree is requirement for most. To become lisensend by a state, counselors must pass written and oral examination and work for about two years in a supervised clinical setting.

Clinical technologist performs more complex laboratory tests and procedurc45t perform more complex laboratory tests and procedures than technicians. They also supervise technicians, confirm their test and manage laboratory quality control programs.

Most clinical laboratory specialists work in hospitals, but they also employee pay private practices, medical companies, and universities.

They preform safety checks and train practitioners to safety operate equipment. Biomedical equipment technology has been one of the fastest growing medical career fields in recent years.

Educational requirements:

Students should take challenging science, math, and electronics courses in high school.

Follow high school, biomedical equipment technicians complete one to three years of course work in biomedical equipment technology, medical-electronics, or biomedical-engineering. Most programs lead to certification and/or associate degrees. Some employers will hire electronics technicians and provide on the job biomedical technology training.
